Actually, you missed the point...again. Lets review...

We are truck enthusiasts on a GM SUV forum, and you are the petulant ford fanboy troll we all must endure. We are discussing the newest model SUV, and you claim blind loyalty is its reason for success vs. the superior ford. This was your point, not the subsequent one about your favorite band (cher or celine dion or whoever)...

I showed that whether GM sells more OR less of their product initially, it is alway MORE valuable to a used buyer vs. a ford. This is what makes it better, no matter what other bs you use to quantify a quality. This is the one. Your welcome for winning...db42038c553815bf57c8a539fa4bf21d0ba107d0&rid=giphy.gif
Nope.

First, the new model hasn’t been released so it has no success yet. I said that if it can’t tow and looks terrible then it will need brand/blind loyalty to succeed.

You said GM had “decades of dominance”. I noted that dominating in sales doesn’t mean you are “the best”.

Then you breathlessly backpeddled with “but but but used sales are what matter!!!”

Oh and I’ve spent over $125k on GM products over the last 6 years. That’s a lot for a Ford fanboy.

How much have you spent?

Honestly.

I didn't know this place was still going, stopped getting notifications but I can see why
:biggun:

I'm not a fan of the fords. They're nice but they're missing something. The expedition got an already old F150 interior. The navigator, to me, already looks old around the headlights and center stack/dash.

Hopefully GM can get the MRC to ride right and for those shocks to last more than 30k miles. Will be especially pricey to replace when they're paired with the air suspension. I'll follow this for about 2 years and if the verdict looks good, I'll gladly dump the LX for a Denali.

Expedition interior is awful. Not new standard yukon awful but awful. Denali interior looks great.

Navi/expys are entering their 4th model year so it’s, at best, mid cycle. In 2 years it will likely be updated or at least have a major refresh..unless they let it languish like they did last time around lol

Dunno. The GLS550 has all of the luxury trappings with none of the cheesiness that comes along with an escalade. But I’d be lying if I said the interior pictures of the esky aren’t good looking. Looking forward to driving one.

Ain’t that the truth! GM knows how to build the best truck based SUVs in the world, and they look damn good too. The Navigator looks like an old, single woman’s car, who’s trying hard to attract an 80 year old sad, lonely man. After Escalade spanks Navigator again, Ford might just stop making them.

*Again, you want to bet on GM vs Ford in this class? Max towing - really? Its the whole package, and nobody wants a ford at the lake...

* Backpeddled from where? You established the best? What was that, and explain how its better than my metric?

* Are you sure? You couldnt remember if you had a 16 or 17 - are you counting that same truck twice? [emoji23] What do you drive right now...HONESTLY. And why are you still here?

Bet on what? Who will sell more? GM will. Of course. And Mariah Carey will sell more
albums than Clapton.

What’s your point?

I’m HONESTLY here because I love automobiles of all makes and models, I have given GM $125k+ over the last few years and am interested in their new releases.

Luckily I’m also allowed to purchase other vehicles and enjoy them too. Imagine that? My favorite vehicle right now is my Range Rover Sport. Fun ride.
