So I recently bought an 08 yukon denali with the 6.2. I really like the fact that it doesn’t have cylinder deactivation. It also has a new transmission and was driven 100k miles by a 70 year old lady. I know these motors have a tendency to last forever especially with no dod. What other things do I need to watch for

If you are at 100K, I would change your plugs and wires, unless you know they have been changed already.

Keep up with your oil changes.

I would flush all your fluids: Brake, P/S, Differentials, transfer case (assuming AWD), transmission, coolant. This will help keep everything rolling along for a long time.

You might also want to inspect your shocks, struts and auto leveling air compressor. The shocks and struts usually start to give up the ghost after 80K to 100K.

Keep all the fluids clean, change them more often than the manual states. At around 160K we see folks come on here with a broken valve spring on #8 cylinder. Don't know why it happens.
