if you change the intake manifold to a 6.2l (on the nnbs) then you can run the ls3/ls7 throttle body, not sure if the wire harness is different or not for the tb

I have an NBS, so sounds like I’d need to look into other options.. oh well, just means I need a new intake as well, right..?

Oh really... hmmm may have to look into that. Lol

how do you know what engine you have? Ie: l94 l9h etc

Broke a record yesterday. Least expensive cost per mile for a tank of fuel yet, twelve cents a mile. This was a transition tank, E15 on top of remnants of E85 for 36% alcohol content. That tank averaged 14.4 MPG.

Filled up with more E15 and somehow wound up with 9% alcohol content. Truck got better than 16 MPG at 85+ MPH for forty miles. If she wasn't up and down on the gas so much it would have been higher. We made a hard run up to the Cape to watch the Space-X launch in person. Ran into miles and miles of traffic and then massive storms. Took a detour but it was still slow going. At 5 minutes till launch, the weather cleared and we found ourselves on a bridge headed towards the ocean. We pulled over and watched and heard the launch. Then I decided to head east to find a bathroom and drive the family past Patrick Air Force Base and then on up to Dixie Crossroads for a delicious early dinner. Well, things didn't quite work out as planned. What should have taken 40 minutes took 4 hours and then it was a 90 minute wait at the restaurant. Other than people walking around with those masks on, you'd never know the Wuhan Flu ever existed. We were not going to wait so we headed home and ate locally.

Truck ran beautifully and had quite a bit of pull even above 90. The mode actuator acted up, it re-directed the air to the defrost vents until I had a chance to shut down and restart the motor. I saw it acting a little squirrely with the Tech-2 a few months ago so we'll order up a new one and replace it. Tech-2 said it was stuck, a B3779 with symptom 61.

The battery's state of charge was 81% and for much of the driving the alternator was not doing much even though the cabin was charging their phones, running the dash cam and keeping the interior at a nice and chilly 66 degrees.

Come to think of it, the truck was facing the launch, wonder if the dash cam still has it? Lemme go look...

Yeah, the camera got it but it's too small to see on screen to bother with.

Swath, you feeling OK? Was trying to follow the above post and I must have missed the intent....kind of rambles....like a guy we know...

Of course i'm 65 now so ....
