Hello the car in question is a 09 6.0 hybrid. The oil pressure at regular driving is around 60 and does fluctuate up and DC own depending on the driving but just casual cruising is always at the 60ish mark. It also sometimes makes a very hard to describe almost metalic grind to a stop when it turns off (the sound seemed to come from the intake manifold throttle body area when I put my ear to it), I use to hear what I'm assuming to be the lifters when it would first start, the rpms would also climb sometimes when driving so I replaced the TB last night, and have also replaced thr driver valve cover because it was burning oil fast and there was a PSA on the fix. Idk if all these could be related or not, we use 5w-30 in it.

50-60 PSI is pretty much the normal running PSI.

I run mobi1 5w-30 I'm losing about ¼th of a qt every 4,000 mile. not too bad for 98k miles

I suggest using premium fuel 91 or higher Octane. I think the rapid switching between v4 and v8 causing oil to be lost this can occur with 87 octane..

you can also disable AFM and Autostop by putting it in M4 it will drop the MPG to 18.5...

the grinning sound could be a bad idler bearing the only thing the belt runs is the water pump the rest are idlers
