Hello all, just picked up this 08 yukon denali for $6500. Has 222k, mostly highway miles. Excellent carfax service history and trans was replaced at 150k.

Plans Right Away:
  • Replace all 4 tires - has a sidewall cut in one.
  • Replace front struts and sway bar Bushings - original units, rides like crap
  • Replace radiator and water pump - original as well, want to do before it leaks
Future Plans:
  • MBRP catback exhaust
  • Airaid MIT intake
  • New headunit

Welcome to the forum from Iowa. Looks great.

Might look and see how your rear air compressor and shocks are looking as well. If you decide to replace those, Arnott is what I would suggest.

I would also look at new plugs and wires unless they have been done recently.

The rear struts were replaced with oem ac delco at around 170k i believe it was and the compressor self test happens at startup as well. So I think those are fine.
Unsure on the plugs/wires but it does idle really rough. I've read about broken motor mounts on these, but going to start by cleaning throttle body

Plugs and wires should be swapped every 95k to 100k but many people stretch that. My guess at 222k is you’re due. Might also clean/check your MAF sensor when you clean your throttle body. With it being an ‘08, you don’t have AFM/DOD which is nice.
