2005 Tahoe LT. VIN:T. 5.3 128k miles
My front windows will go down automatically when I push the window switch once. I have to hold the switch to raise the windows to the closed position, which is normal.
I am wondering if there is an upgrade that I can do so the windows will go up automatically like they do go down automatically with one push of the switch.
I’ve done a search and can’t find anything related to this.

thanks!

Might be possible, but there is a safety factor that needs to be considered. Any vehicle I’ve been in that has “Express Up” windows are able to sense any obstruction in the window opening and reverse the window so the window doesn’t catch things like a kids head in the opening and hurt them. Sort of like the sensors on a garage door.

Viper/DEI alarms used to have window modules that would do this. You don’t have to have the alarm if you wire it correctly. All windows in my civic were auto up/down after adding the module. It would stop (maybe reversed? Can’t remember) when it sensed tension rolling up.
