hope every one is doing good with all the crazy stuff thats been going on. for us its been a while but just got back in to a 2020 yukon slt. we did a whole round about in the last 7 years wtf lol . we had a 2013 yukon xl brand new and stupidly traded her off on a new 2015 diesel . then sold the 15 so we could make sure we could build our new house, our main goal. when we sold the diesel i hastily picked up a 11 esv with out going to look at it in person ( stupid on my part but the kids were starting school and couldnt make the 5 hr drive to look at it). i thought a under 100k rig would be fine. i get stuff needs to be maintained, so i was not to worried. that thing was way more rusty then the dealers pictures. so for the last 2 years ive been battling electrical issues . back to the real story with all the 0% apr's going around we were looking at new diesels because it would be better for what we got going on. just like B.B. King would say if i didnt have bad luck id have no luck at all missed the 0% on the diesels . we started looking at suvs and found a yukon slt with a LIFE TIME power train warr and we were like thats a no brainner. we got a 8 year 160k bumper warr on top and are supper pumped to be in a nice ride where if i felt like driving to fl or mt we can just jump in and go.

Nice. Welcome back. Hopefully you won't be breaking in that warranty any time soon!

Welcome back. Went through a little of the vehicle swapping over the last few years ourselves.

Had a 2007 Denali XL with 272K that lost a lifter and cam so while deciding what to do with that, we bought an ‘09 suburban LTZ. Wife hated it so when I got the 2007 fixed so I could sell it, she said she’s keeping the 272K Denali and not the 120K Suburban. She likes the 6.2 and full time AWD.

At 300K we traded the ‘07 in for an ‘08 with 95K. Drove 4.5 hours to get that one out of Indiana. That turned out to be a bad vehicle with us chasing electrical issues as well as other problems. After 1-1/2 years, we traded the ‘08 in last summer for a ‘13 with 85K and have been very happy with it.

Welcome back "Kotter".

We recommend that you put all your rig(s) info in your signature so we all don’t have to guess at year, make, model, engine size, trans, rear axle locker…….etc. While you may have posted pertinent info in your first post, you may forget to do it again and the info is needed by us anyway. Makes it way easier on all members that attempt to help, to have that info right up front. It is also recommended that you take a pic of your RPO codes, on the inside cover of the glove box, and post that image in your signature. All this info will greatly help those that will try to help with a problem.

If there is any other info, like upgrades, mods or recent mechanical/maintenance work done, that would be helpful in any post as well. Too many times a question is asked by the poster and after about 10 responses we find out that the poster has done recent work to attempt to fix the problem or work that was done that SEEMS not related to the problem.
