Gauge Cluster

I’m back from a 1 year Tahoe hiatus. Sold my 07 LTZ about a year ago and bought a 14 Charger RT 100th anniversary but I missed my tahoe and needed a winter car so I’m buying a 2003 LT but the speedo doesn’t work. I remember this being a common issue if I buy a new/used speedo off eBay is plug and play also I do remember a company that specializes in repairing them don’t know the name though.

I think you’re right about the repair shop but of course I can’t recall either. Maybe @swathdiver @iamdub or @PNW VietVet might remember.

Digital dash solutions.com is the best service to have them repaired. They can do new stepper mirrors for all the gauge needles and they can repair all the backlighting. It is plug and play however you will need to have the correct mileage of the truck programmed into the new cluster. The mileage won’t just transfer into the new cluster as it’s stored in the cluster not in the truck itself. They can handle that as well for you.

DDS is apparently no longer doing repairs. They did a great job on my '04's a year ago, adding the tranny gauge and LED backlighting.

That’s a bummer. I had my escalade cluster rebuilt with new stepper motors and led backlighting. I ended up having to send my cluster to DDS to have the mileage correctly programmed to my truck. And DDS was absolutely fantastic. They answered all the questions I had and handled the cluster perfectly. It’s a bummer they’re no longer repairing them because they are absolutely on point!

I used Odopro a couple of years ago and haven’t had any issues. I had them replace all the steppers and LEDs. His turnaround time was very fast. He actually did the job and shipped it out the day he received it.

Sounds good I appreciate the help guys that one was too rough found one in cape I’m going to buy tomorrow hopefully no gauge issues! Good to know though incase the gauges are bad on that one as well.

You will still have to send it out for mileage programming. I just found an eBay seller and sent one out.
