I have a 14 Escalade ,dvd and CD player won’t work. I can insert a disc and it will make some noise then kinda spit it out. If I buy a used one would it plug in and work or does it need programmed?

radio's are vin locked so yes, you can do all the swap yourself and then take it to the dealer and have them do the unlock or if you have access to a tech2 and computer you can do it yourself for $40
