Yes, that's the bracket.

I do usually suggest you use 2008+ for these because there are 2 castings on 2007 and the later ones accommodate the drag reduction clips.
Do you have any comparison pics of those 97 brackets? Don't know which I have now. What's the purpose of those clips?

I don't. I think they changed halfway through 2007. Casting numbers should be on the caliper. 285/6 or 351/2. The clips keep the pad from dragging on the rotor, I think. @swathdiver knows all about them.

Well, not ALL about them! Put them on the front brakes when we did them a year ago and picked up in fuel mileage some. Had the wheels off the other day to grease the slides and shims and they were still working albeit rusty. Going to put them on the rear brakes this week or next finally.

As for PowerStop brakes, was skeptical of quality because of price. Went ahead and bought full rear kit for our Kia and they've been great. Supposed to do front and rear with them soon on our Impala.

Thanks.... That's the kind of tips I'm looking for!!

Uh, casting numbers.... 285/6 - 351/2 These are for '07 ? Or, '08?

I think you will only find the casting #s designated if you shop for 07 because of the change. If you look for 08-14, there will only be one choice, I believe. I used 2013 when I bought mine. I dont remember exactly why I chose 2013.

Yes, it is a simple and great idea and has been around for years. I believe the first time I saw them was on foreign vehicles.

Such a simple idea.
Can those drag clips be used on the earlier 07 brackets? I'm not sure which I have. I actually got the setup from @sumo . I wonder if he knows :hmmm2:....

Yep those are common on Hondas. It’s a great idea, but it won’t do anything for a seizing caliper, binding slide pin.
Tony. My calipers are off a 08. If they make pads for that year it will fit. Spring clips make are low profile so when you install the caliper, the housing is resting on the crest of the spring so it makes more tension pushing the pads outwards.

Nice. Thx @sumo . The whole time I thought they were from an 07.
