Will any year & trim 00-06 Escalades have the same 3rd brake light & glass to fit my 01 NBS tahoe?

2002-2006 standard wheel base escalades and 2003-2006 esv models will work. I did the swap to my 2006 Denali. Make sure you don’t end up with a third brake light off an Escalade EXT. the base for the light is completely different than the SUV light housing and the ext light and housing will not mount on an suv glass hatch.

Awesome man! What color is the base? Check it against your paint code as some of the Escalade colors are different than the tahoe and Yukon colors. The family whom I share my house with has a 2005 escalade ESV, and I have a 2006 XL Denali. Both our trucks are silver and both our trucks share the same paint code, but hers is a standard metallic silver, quicksilver I think hers is called, and my silver birch metallic has just a tiny hint of gold flake in so it has a more “champagne” look to it. My original third brake light housing that I picked up was silver and I was excited only to find out when it got delivered, it matched her truck and not mine. Lol.

It's black, and GM black is always 7555 paint code.

You got lucky then! Haha. I need to repaint my base. It had to do a new one last year because my original base cracked in multiple places and fell apart. So I painted another one and the clearcoat didn’t last on it.
