I can’t figure out why the rear windows will not roll up or down from the rear seat switches. They work fine from the driver seat. I tried the child lockouts on the rear doors, am I missing something ? Hard to believe both switches are bad, but I guess they could be... Thanks in advance Kirk

Silly question, but do you happen to have the window lock button pressed on the drivers door switch cluster?

It's common for the lesser-used window switches to develop a layer of what I guess is some form of corrosion on the contacts and quit working. It's not a metal corrosion. I've seen it fixed just by some rigorous operating of the switches.

The lockout switch may be faulty since the problem is with both rear windows.

You can pull the switches apart and clean the contacts with either a pencil eraser or swab with alcohol. They’re known to quit working from corrosion, and it doesn’t usually even look like anything. I have had to clean mine a couple times on my 08 Silverado.

Had my rear window switches both fail within months of each other. Bought them from a vendor who got them from the same factory that makes them for GM. Identical. Just did same for an AC Actuator too. Let me find you the link...

I bought one in an ACDelco box for about $20 and then got this one in a plain white box and it is identical.
