New accelerator pedal sensor at 223K miles = huge difference

I just bought a 2004 Denali w 223K miles. Promptly got reduced engine power and threw a new throttle body/sensor at that which may have solved the problem.

Also went ahead and threw in a new accelerator pedal position sensor which entirely changes the vehicle's responsiveness. Eliminated the lag time between pedal and engine. Can't spend a better $90 bucks or whatever it was from Rockauto.

Been debating on doing this myself... seems like I have a random intermittent loss of power and terrible throttle response.

Link to pedal sensor?

I have lag as well but always assumed it was trans. Willing to try out the sensor
