That sticker (RPO code) will tell you just about anything you need to know about your Tahoe. Just google RPO codes GM
You can also contact GM through the chat feature on their website and get a full build sheet for your vehicle. That will give you a list of all the RPO’s for your vehicle and what they represent. Very helpful.

So, high beams work but no low beam? Was working before for sure? All connections correct at the back of the alternator and make sure the plug in is fully seated and one of the pins did not push out of the connector housing. Is it at least charging? Did you check all fuses? Get in there and see.

Yes high beams work, all lights were working before the replacement, but I forgot to mention that this is the second alternator. What happened is I bought the first one it caused an overcharging situation, I checked the amps and it was putting out 18.65 amps at the battery while running so I shut my truck down. Called my mechanic and we both agreed that the regulator was bad. Took the alternator back to Napa got another installed it and all was good so I thought. I have the auto light option or what ever it is called when it get dark enough the exterior lights come on all the other lights work just not the low beams.

I think you mean charging 18.65 volts. 18.65 amps from a 130 amp alternator will not do much damage. Your auto light that comes on when dark enough may have to be reset. Look at your manual for the process. Do the low beams work if you turn them on yourself? The low beams could have been damaged or there is a fuse or relay that was damaged by the over charging. But maybe, just maybe a reset will do it, if it can be reset.
