Global Extended Coolant

( I bought this 03 Tahoe used a couple of years ago with 165000 miles... it now has 175000 miles and I don’t know if it’s ever had the coolant changed). I specifically asked for Dex Cool.
When the emailed me my invoice I noticed they had used something called “Global Extended Coolant Antifreeze”.

Should I be concerned?

Never heard of Global Extended Coolant so had to do a quick search. Supposedly it’s ok to use on pretty much any vehicle and is compatible as a top-off on any color coolant, as they say. My guess is if they did a full flush and replace, you should be ok. I can see where a place like where you took your vehicle would use something like this. It keeps their supply inventory simplifies and and reduces the risk of Junior using the wrong stuff.
