I put new Bosch blades on the Yukon today and noticed the lift as well.

The traditional blades with the various sections don’t work so well in the winter here in Iowa with all of the snow and ice. Have better luck here with the beam style, despite the lift on the far passenger side of the windshield.
totally agree. My traditionals when i had the s10 literally froze to the windshield the first time it got cold cold here. 90% of the year here though they’ve always worked better for me.

Couldn't stand the chrome overload or ride of the 22's any longer so I ordered up some replicas of a 2019 Z71 Trail Boss in 20x9s with a "titanium finish" and some Toyo Proxes in a 305/50. Couldn't be happier with the looks or the handling, although I will have to do some trimming of the plastic end caps at the front of the power steps to cure a minor rub issue at full lock and add some flares if she's ever to stay clean again. Plan is to blackout all the chrome and "de-badge"...

I use the RainX Expert Fit Hybrid wiper. It's a traditional wiper with sprinf legs but has a built-on sectioned cover to make it like a beam style to keep out ice and snow.

They still lift off the glass at the bottom of the passenger side, but only a tiny bit and only for about the first inch of the upward wipe.

I had 135 k on mine and it was still running good. What I noticed was my highway gas mpg went up...

I’m interested in seeing what happens to my mileage. I was very happy with how well the swap went. I always start with #8 and it went just about as smooth as the rest now that I have my tool selection and technique figured out.

Did my first oil change since installing the Fumoto drain valve. Is it normal for it to take 30 minutes to drain the oil with this thing? I went ahead and punched a hole in the filter to cut down on the mess. It drains faster than the valve does!
