Ok your talking foreign language to me!! Lol, but I’m interested in seeing how it works. To whom do I contact? Having GM cars/trucks from 2007 to 2017 would be awesome to be able to do stuff like this.
you can use a tech2 on your xx-14 suv's in 2014 gm switched over to GDS2 but I have read you can still use the tech2 for 2014 suv's but I haven't tried it on a 14 yet.
you can get a little electronic obd device online called a vx diag nano, it runs via usb on a windows laptop or tablet and it will give you tech2win (software based tool) and GDS2 for the 14+
the vx diag runs about $100-125 works on 07-14, and 14-current with gds2
~versus~
a clone tech2 (tool) runs about $300
a gds2 based (tool) runs $1200+
~versus~
a trip to the dealer for a diagnostic is $100 a pop

Yes but not necessarily the entire harness. The wires get frayed so you’re just looking for that.

I have to get the friggin gate to open first. I saw that there’s a way to open the buggered from the inside.

I’m thinking there’s frayed wires as You mentioned. This rig came with a back up camera. That also works when it wants.

I’ve got a Scout trip in 2 weeks that I need the gate to work. Camping gear my backpack food cooler and the chuck box all go in the back. Dammit need a 30 hour day, this 24 hour isn’t working!!! Lol

look on the inside panel, you will see a dimple spot, drill right there thru the plastic cover then you can poke inside with a screw driver and pop the latch open, once you have it fixed the hole can be capped off with a plastic clip

This dimple spot that your referring to. I’m not seeing it, then again I’ve been on call for the past 36 hours.
