So this thread got me curious: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/getting-8-5-mpg-need-help.102485/

Reading: http://www.ls1.com/forums/f48/been-testing-oil-91206/

Some anecdotal stuff here: https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/5214715

Info here: https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/3972472/2_stroke_oil_in_a_4stroke_engi

That's about all I got for now. Going to run it for a bit and see what happens. Will be peering down my spark plug holes in a few thousand miles to see how it looks. Can't comment on fuel economy, my driving as of late has been too sporadic. Too many different conditions and driving scenarios.

Will run a UOA on it too but tbh I still have another year and a half before that would be appropriate because of an oil pump replacement recently.
Eh... running diesel.?

After some curiosity on another thread, did some reading... And added some 2 stroke oil to my gas.

I ******* hate the fact that this works. It idles smoother, how I don't know. I cannot make heads or tails of it. I'd have a very weak misfire once every couple seconds that tended with the oxygen sensor voltage. It's gone. I ******* cannot even with this stuff......

When I run about 4oz of TC-W3 in the tank of mine, it definitely runs much smoother. Now that I've been running Costco gas (which my rig also seems to like better) I'm going to try the TC-W3 again and see what happens.

The "E" at the end of the part number? That's for "environmental". It's the newer design of ACDelco filters that are made of more environmentally-friendly components.
In other words cheaper construction. Its paper and weaker adhesive IIRC. Edit I see now others have responded to this as well.

I have that set on my Yukon. Im tinkering with the idea to make the top and the bottom set of LEDs light up together. Also adding a resistor to dim the parking lights a bit more
Nice. Do you like them? How long have you had them? Any problems?

I have the same set on mine as well. I really like them. The only issue I had during install was that I had to take the screw clips off the OEM tails and switch them onto the new tails bc the ones that came on the news tails just wouldn't grab.
