2016 Denali Tune

Hi -

I was looking at a 2016 Denali and most folks on here recommend against it because of the 8 speed trans. Is there a tune which will improve the shift sequence,etc?

I currently have a 07 Tahoe which I am going to move on.

Thanks for contacting us, we would be happy to help with tuning. We can tune the 8 speed transmission on the 2016, and help improve shift patterns, it's the 2017 and newer 8 speed transmission that we are not able to tune. We would tune it via our AutoCal, it's a handheld device that will allow us to see your vehicle data, and provide the custom tunes via email.

Go for the Black Bear tune. You won't regret it.

Tell them exactly what you want out of the tune, (performance, towing, gas mileage, or some combination thereof; fuel octane usage preference; AFM delete, if applicable; non-stock tires/wheels impacting the speedometer reading; etc.) and they will tell you if it is possible on your truck model and year. If it is possible, they will do it, and you will have your custom tune.

Do you need the VIN of the 2016 or can any model year 2016 be tuned?

We will get your vehicle information when you read out a copy of the engine and transmission file from your vehicle, and email that in, along with your data log. We can tune 98 and newer GM gas vehicles with the AutoCal.
