Or you can just connect the stock speaker leads to the high level input on the AMP (if the amp has high level inputs).

I ran 4 gauge wiring from the battery into a small factory plugged hole on the front passenger side door (just pop off the rubber grommet and you can run wires into the cabin). I grounded to the body and connected the remote wire to the cigarette lighter + (I was unable to locate a switched power signal on the factory harness)

Amp is secured with velcro.

I just added the powered subwoofer last week (JL Audio ACP208LG-W3V3). It fits behind the third row and at only 5-1/8"D still has plenty of cargo space. Love the sound! at half gain it fills the cabin perfectly. My next project is to build the enclosure into the ground so that it is completely hidden (more pics to come).

I also decided to go with a digital signal processor because using the Hi-Level inputs on the 4 channel amp gave a slight alternator whine. I purchased the Audio control LC7i and returned it for the LCQ-1, and finally settled with the DQDX. Tuned it but definitely worth taking it to an audio shop to do an RTA tuning (for reference I paid $60 for the tuning). This unit lets you tune the Front, Rear, and Sub-woofer independently and has some great bass restoration and timing features. (I am not an audio control spokes person, just happy I found a solution after wiring it 3 times with different units)
