The last thing that’s keeping me from installing the console is deciding what to do about the Deutsch connector for the switches. I couldn’t wait anymore to see what the sub sounded like so I hooked it up temporarily tonight. I don’t have any good speaker wire yet and didn’t have time to mount the amp. I was starting to worry that the JL was too much for the box and would sound like shit but I’m happy to say it hits super hard. I still need to dial the amp and HU sub adjustments in but I am impressed. People will definitely be wondering where all the bass is coming from. It shakes the cab pretty good. Played Low Rider by War and some Audioslave.

I’m leaning toward a new Autowoods black leather steering wheel to match. The OEM one is like the seats were- just ok. The Autowoods is way nicer leather, and is $125 after core return. Hmmmm.

Yeah you know me huh Sam. I just received my refund from LKQ for the console plus after checking on EBay it looks like my jumpseat is worth a small fortune. I see the fabric ones listed for no less than $300, up to $450 so I figure I can easily get $350 for the leather one plus it’s in perfect condition. I checked around on prices and Autowoods is less expensive than pretty much all the others and I know their quality is top notch since I have one of theirs in The Beast. So it’s ordered in matching black leather.
