Good morning -

I am a new Yukon Denali owner, having picked mine up last month. I test drove almost every midsize SUV on the market before realizing all of them were just too small, as I'm 6'5" and I need to save at least a little space behind the driver's seat for my two kids. So I started test driving the big boys, and the Denali was the only one that left a huge grin on my face!

I've already begun having loads of fun modding...

-Full length illuminating running board LEDs
-Hardwired fiber optic dash strip (app adjustable)
-Hardwired interior ambient lighting (app adjustable)
-Weathertech hood deflector
-Weathertech sunroof deflector, (notched around the GPS mast and fully gasketed)
-Edge trim door protectors & rear corner bump stop
-Blind spot mirrors
-Roof rack crossbars
-Rhino hitch step

Next on my list include a hardwired Verizon hotspot and emergency scanner antennas and front and rear dashcams (Thinkware Q800 Pro).

I am planning to move up to 22"s when the factory tires come off, likely in April or May.

Give us some details about this CB light mod. It looks sweet.

Oh the running board lights? So the stock Denali has a set of 3' lights that illuminate a small footprint underneath the running boards when they extend. The concept is good, but there is opportunity for improvement...so I did! I tapped the stock hot wire that provides power from the electrical system to the factory bulb, and soldered it to a waterproof LED strip that runs the full length of the running boards from front to back on both sides of the vehicle.

Now, anytime I use the fob to unlock the thing, or one of the doors is opened at night, the bottom of the running boards throw off a brilliant pool of white light along the entire side of the truck. It's all tied into the nighttime sensor in the dashboard so only activates when the outside light level is low.

Here's the interior. I've got a pair of footwell lights in the front, a second pair in the middle row, ambiant lighting up the inside of the B pillars, under the third row and in the hidden rear (rifle?) storage bay. I've also added a fiber optic strip from XKChrome. I've seen some crazy add-ons with the fiber optic stuff...I wanted to add something tasteful and simple that didn't give it the "Tron" look.

Bear in mind, I cranked up the lighting to the maximum setting to take this photo, but in practice I keep it at a more subtle level.
