2016 Denali taillights

Anyone had any luck getting a dealership to replace these out of warranty? Not sure how long mine have been have been flickering or not working at all, but had a family member tell me about it while following me. As far as I know it’s only the driver side right now...

Nope. Dealership wanted $725 per tail light. Found a core exchange repair guy in ebay that does great work. <$280 a tail light after core refund.

Ok, well, if I wanted to go aftermarket, are there any decent looking ones, that are worth a shit?

I had both replaced under warranty tho. I think the core replacement is the best option

Yesterday got letter from GM that my brake lights were recalled by GM. I have 2015 Yukon Delanli XL.

You might want to call you dealer and check with them about this recall

Recalled...? There is a special extended coverage for the rear tail lights and that letter went out a few weeks ago. Please review and or post the letter you're referring to because an actual Recall is quite different than an extended special coverage warranty.

This would be very helpful to clarify for other owners.

Yeah not a recall...

A recall doesn’t say in bold “Do not take your vehicle to your GMC dealer as a result of this letter...”

Special coverage warranty, not a recall.
