Really great work! I always wanted steel bumpers front and back on my 2007 (GMT900). The plastic covers are crap for real-world usage. But I wouldn't want the aggressive aftermarket stuff for the young bucks who like to peacock and show off. I don't want it to look like a movie prop all angular and unnecessarily blocky to be "cool."

From metal, repeating a plastic bumper (GMT900) with its smooth lines and SAVING a round STYLE GMT900 is incredibly difficult.
Stainless steel is almost impossible. Because stainless steel behaves very badly when welding. It moves and rotates.
And there are residual stresses in the structure.
