Hi guys and gals, I did a little trail running today. Yay!! Here's the issue. I aired down a little to smooth out the ride and I noticed the front tires are rubbing on the uca. I'm thinking a .5" spacer should work but my tires are now toast :( Have any of you gone wheeling regularly with a spacer? How big did you need? Here's a tire pic for reference, this is after 4hrs on the trail and the drive home 20190629_164222.jpg

Bump! Interested in wheel spacer details as well. I haven’t had this issue (yet) but at full flex in the rear, my tires hit/rub the inner fender liners of the wheel well.

Still interested in this post.

Alex,

What are the specs of the tires you’re running? I’m going to be getting 285/70r17 General Grabber ATx’s and don’t want to run into the same issue as you when I air down.

Goodyear Duratracs 315/75r16 tires. I ended up doing a .25" spacer and it's good to go.

Ok cool! And you’re all good with that small of a spacer? Still stays hub centric and stuff?

It's good for now. I regularly remove the wheels/tires to inspect.

Not myself. But a group of friends I tag along with; They run spacers on their rigs without issue. Larger 1" ones. But they got the nice ones. Not the china garbo. I can find out what they run if you're interested
