I'm having to remove all the wiring around the steering column so I can replace my clockspring harness. I'm down to the last item but I can't figure out how to get it out. It's got a plastic pin that drops into the ignition cylinder and I'm afriad to break it. Is there an easy way to get it out?

Ok, I figured it out for anyone that needs it.

Remove the key alarm connector (1) from the lock module assembly (2) in the following way:
1. Rotate the key alarm connector (1) 90 degrees.
2. Pull the key alarm connector (1) out of the lock module assembly (2).

Also, note that you need to put a little flat screwdriver on the left side to push in a clip before you twist 90 degrees. You can't just twist it.

Lots of good information found here.

ALLDATAdiy would be a great place for you to sign up for a year for $29.95 for your rig. I did and I just got an offer from them to add another year for $14.95. I am going to do it. Your attachment is likely derived from a site like them. Over the years I have used AllData in my shops as well as Mitchell on Demand and now I hear there are many others. Asking here is a great source but that software backup is worth the money.

Plus, when you ask a question you supply pics and great details, so it really helps us.

Hey, thanks for the tip! I will sign up for that. Sounds like it's going to help me with other projects I have lined up. :) It's been an adventure for sure. lol
