No, the heated steering wheel does not come on with remote start. Sure wish it did though. At least it doesn't on my 2019 and there is no option in the setting to turn it on.

I used to have a 2016 Denali and had the same issue.However the level of heat output always seemed weak compared to other vehicles and so I assumed the perceived lack of heat to just not enough time to warm up during the10 minute programmed run time. I currently have a 2019 Denali and those seats get HOT. I do notice the heat during remote start warm-up. One of the few changes that's actually an improvement?

Got to stop at the dealer and they said there should be some warming, but none from mine... so will let them check it out because of GM certify.
