2019 Tahoe LS...Replacement parts for plastic wood?

I just picked up a new 2019 Tahoe LS custom back in September. I feel I got a good price on it. So far I'm really happy with the vehicle. However, there is one thing that I'd like to change. The interior is beautiful but I can't stand the plastic fake wood. Are there any upgrade options available?

You can swap the pieces for someone that has the ones you want but wants woodgrain. Or you can remove and paint or wrap yours.

That sounds like a good solution. What do you recommend that I wrap them with?

Any quality vinyl that has a color or pattern you like. Off the top of my head, I know that 3M makes good stuff. There are other brands and styles, though. You want a thin vinyl that can conform to the compound curves. There are a few members here that have done this quite recently and I know there's at least one that (I think) works at a vinyl shop. Lemme see if I can find that recent thread and/or that member I'm trying to think of...

You ever hear of hydro dipping? That might look cool.

You have me thinking. Maybe I should pull all the plastic trim and have it all match. Perhaps psudo carbon fiber.

I never could find that thread or member that recently wrapped his trim in white. Another member, @Rocket Man, is working on his at the moment and just updated his thread. He might know who is that other member I'm talking about.

We actually talked about hydro dipping in his thread recently. If you do get "carbon fauxber", get the stuff that actually looks like a three-dimensional woven cloth. Rocket Man's truck had a cheap "carbon fiver" pattern the PO installed and it looked really cheap.

I have the woodgrain in my LTZ and I plan to wrap it with something like a black and silver burl wood- kinda keep the classiness but give it an updated, sportier look. I'm wanting it to look more like wisps of smoke against a black background if I go with that pattern.

I went to my shop that does window tinting, clear and color wraps, and had the fake wood wrapped because it's ugly as crap. I first used a match for the dash but found that a little too dark, so I went with a slightly brighter silver color tint, that adds just enough brightness to the interior

Hcvone that looks excellent. I was on the fence about going carbon fiber or matching the silver. I like the silver.

Agreed, the fake wood is tacky. It has to go.

If you don't mind, how much did that cost you?

I tried carbon fiber but like the fake wood just made the area darker, I was tring to add some light to brighten the interior since my windows are tinted. They tried not to charge me since they do a lot of work for me, I gave the guy 100 dollars, he did it while I talked to the owner, took him 30-45 minutes max, the Chevy dealer even said it looks 100 times better than the fake wood
