Hi All

I've just realized, there's only one heated mirror in my yukon. On the passenger's side.
Is this my version, or maybe someone (previous owner) has changed this driver's side mirror to non-heated one?

I'd like to have this mirror on the driver's side also heated :) Can I just buy such?

VIN: 1GKEK13ZX3J193972

And all the codes on the image below.

Thank you.

It seems it's not heated. No "wave" sign on it either.
I also have towing mirrors from the previous owner and one of them has more cables...

Not saying it's not possible but it really seems odd, or stupid, for a manufacture to have optional heated mirrors on one side only. That doesn't make sense.

Depends on the logic used. It used to be that only the right mirror could be remotely operated because you can physically touch the left one and just as easily clean it off to see with.

Truck has DL8 option which is "Power, Heated".

When you replace them with new factory mirror glasses, they come without the heater symbol.

Best way to check is either removing the glass or adjusting the glass to check if there is a small pigtail connected to the glass.

They might have just replaced it with a non-heated glass, or may have the new updated glass installed.

You can pop out the glass fairly easy and check for wires and voltage.

OK it seems there are cables attached to the mirror glass. Is there a way to remove it without destroying the mounting/clips? :)
