Is it crazy for me to get one for a truck that is garaged, just because I won't drive it for a good few months? I thought it would keep dust off and maybe offer a little protection from people coming in and out walking past it constantly...

Not crazy IMHO. Might even check out a lighter weight one that might be a few dollars cheaper.

Keeping the dust off and walk by scuffs is a good enough reason.
Shoot I hate parking by anyone let alone rubbing up against it or fingerprints. So cover that beauty up. But you already knew that?

I have a cover for my 77 that is garaged :shrug:
