Well, maybe they were already replaced/eliminated?
They're definitely still there. I've been under the vehicle to verify that.

We bought the Tahoe a little over 2 years ago. Since then, we've built a detached garage that I do all of our car work in. I've learned a ton over the last two years and have been able to take care of everything myself so far.

My wife's '15 Tahoe LTZ has gotten very "springy" lately. We feel every bump riding down the road now. It's not stiff at all. It's bouncy. It's so bouncy it feels like we're riding in a boat. I did the "push down on the bumper" test and it literally oscillates or bounces a few times until it comes to a stop. Same in the front and back, so I'm thinking all four corners are shot. Am I correct in my assessment?

Unfortunately she has the Z95 magneride system, so I'll be looking to rip that out and replace it with conventional parts. Lots of threads on here discussing that, but I haven't found one yet that says "this is the answer" so I'm gonna keep on researching. Any pointers are appreciated.

I have a 2015 LTZ too. Same issues. I bought the “simulator” from xingeering and Monroe struts for the front off of Amazon over the weekend. Struts are here, waiting e simulator in the mail. Going to give it a go this weekend. Will let you know, I too will follow up in another weekend or two on the back shocks.

Wow, so much information in those threads. Thanks for finding those.

At this point I'm leaning towards the Shocksims kit and Monroe's on all four corners, removing magneride and the air suspension. Not lowered or lifted and we don't do any towing. It's just a daily driver. Really wish there was a cheaper kit for removing magneride but it is what it is. I figure I'm better off forking out around $750 now and $300 for every subsequent replacement than $1500 on every replacement.

I am 100% happy with my Xineering MRC Delete Shock Sims product. As you mentioned, there is a ton of information in the 3 threads that @gat0r previously mentioned. My goal was to improved ride quality on my daily drive, improve off road performance AND increase overall ride height. The MRC delete with Fox 2.0's allowed me to accomplish all 3 objectives.

In my searching; however, I did come across a product from Stutmasterscom and ALMOST pulled the trigger on that. I'd say it is worth checking out. They were using Eibach built coils in their full plug n play front strut assembly when I spoke with them in January 2019. They also had great southern hospitality customer service.

You said you "almost" went with the Strutmasters kit. What made you go with the Xineering solution instead? Was it because you wanted something more than stock height and performance?

Also looks like the Strutmasters kit comes with rear coils which the other options don't.

I also found another simulator kit online that I've inquired about: https://afepower.com/afe-control-43...ctronic-shock-delete-gm-gen-3-small-connector. The product page doesn't list the Tahoe, but i went through the "Search by vehicle" and that product was listed for a '15 Tahoe.

We just replaced the front struts on our ‘15 LTZ Tahoe with 55,000 but we left the air shocks in back. We used the Xineering 1/2 kit with Monro struts in front. Very happy with ride now. Customer service from Max at Xineering was Awesome! Daily driver no towing and never off road. :)

Looking at the Strutmasters kit, it doesn't look like it includes anything to simulate the electronic components like the Xineering kit. They have other kits that specifically state what is included to bypass the system, but this one does not state anything. The only mention is this "IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE WARNING LIGHT FOR 2015 AND UP MODELS, YOU MUST INSTALL A 4 WHEEL KIT" but doesn't mention it anywhere else.

They do, however, list a suspension warning light fix module for 2007-2013 separately on their site. That would lead me to believe that I would need a separate module to fix the warning lights, which it appears they do not offer.

I emailed them yesterday, but so far have not received a response. I may give them a call today just to verify.

Just to keep the information updated.

Just spoke with the guys at Strutmasters. The kit does include the modules to bypass the computer. However, they are not plug and play components like the Xineering kit. He said I would have to splice them directly into the lines at each wheel. He was very nice and accommodating with all of my questions. Total price for the Strutmasters kit shipped to my door would be $704.

Will try to give the AFE Power guys a call in a little while too since they haven't responded to my email either.

Max is the man. He helped me out for over an hour on the phone last week. Great company. Jerry

Yes, I wanted increased ride height and performance. The Fox coilover accomplished both.
The Strutmaster product would have required a front spacer and from my research, a loss in ride quality. With the adjustable Fox coilovers there is more travel built in to the assembly providing ride quality and ride height.

The Strutmasters kit comes with rear coils, yes.
FYI - I purchased a pair of GM OE rear coils for the z71 spec and they went on with my 1" rear spacer and rear shocks. My original '15 LTZ ride at 36k miles was wickedly harsh in the rear and one of the major reasons I started looking into changed my suspension components.

The afepower.com product looks similar to the Xineering; however, the afepower.com product looks to have a long cable between connectors. The Xineering product is simply a plug and play plastic clip with no cable. The cable would have to be stuffed up or zip-tied to keep it out of the way. There is not a lot of space at the top of the front strut assembly for these pieces, even as small as they are.

Max IS THE MAN!!!
Xineering is his company and he is an extremely smart and technical guy. The development of the MRC delete circuits was born out of Max's efforts to turn Corvette's into track race cars.
He uses his own '15 Tahoe (w/MRC delete circuits) to haul his sweet silver Chevy Corvette (w/ MRC delete) around to different events. I believe he posted 182 mph in a quarter mile a few months ago.

The Xineering circuits allow you to install ANY aftermarket passive suspension that fits the Tahoe.
