iPhone 11 Pro Max working with 2017 Denali?

Before buying a new cell phone (iPhone 11 Pro Max), I googled compatibility and got some scary posts of people not being able to get AppleCarPlay to work. I know I’ll need a USB-a to Lightning cable to get a connection, maybe even a sub-c/usb-a adapter.

Anyone done this successfully?

I have the 11pro (not max) and it works fine with carplay on my 2016 denali.

Sometimes it even charges on the charging pad lol

Will likely require a new wireless charging module (if you want to use that feature), but it is a quick fix!

Just to bookend this thread, I got the 11 Pro Max and it connects just fine. I only use it plugged in as Bluetooth music quality sucks.
