I finally had enough with repairs on the Duramax (needed injectors now) so I got up with Huck and we did a little swapping. So far I love this thing and I am shocked at how clean it is. I am so excited to be back in something this clean and well taken care of. I can't wait to do a few simple mods and just drive this thing. I already told the wife I think it needs some chop, so we shall see

Here is a list of mods:
211k miles
Trans was new at 181k
3.42 gear
‘05-up pickup front calipers, pads, NAPA heavy duty rotors
stainless braided front lines -
2” Belltech (or mcgaughys, can’t remember) spindles, 2” keys cranked a bit to add back stiffness -4” Belltech rear springs
Spohn adjustable panhard
Belltech front and rear sway bars and endlinks with poly bushings
polished 20” gmcs -265/50/20 Toyos
Tony’s headlights (Retrofit cleared Denalis)
led C-shape tails
LED interior lights and reverse lights
HID and LED lows/high/fogs
AVS ventshades
JBL speakers to match BOSE ohm rating
spike antenna/front and rear bumper spikes

Planned mods
New windshield (has a leak)
Already installed Pioneer DD
small system (SA10 ported with Sundown 1200.1)
Already ordered Escalade Cluster
Ordered clear corners

I had an uncle from Thomasville. He raised his family down in Tallahassee but worked up there with the railroad for many years. Miss him. The hickory trees (pecans) and homes in that photo remind me of him.
That's crazy man. I moved here about 20 years ago (when in high school) and it is a really neat place to raise a family.

Just last night I was talking with my mother and she mentioned wanting to go back to a restaurant downtown in Thomasville, a good place for lunch. The name escapes me but I'll be sure to detour and take her there in the spring sometime. Jonah's Fish and Grits!

Ah my wife loves Jonah's. Definitely a popular place. Sweet Grass Dairy downtown is awesome too.
