i'd buy it but nowhere to charge it up though;... that is the issue the 500 miles should be standard 250miles range does not sound too hot to me maybe if the range was at lest 350 miles

but 500 miles would make killing on uber $$$

since it would cost very little in power costs vs gas..

you could uber all day and make a bunch of money....

:D...

There's a reason charging stations are popping up in or near hotel parking lots. Instead of driving from Florida to New York in 17 hours or 2 days for the oldsters, these EVs are going to take 3-5 days! Where's the savings? LOL

super charging stations :) I think super charging stations should be open to all cars etc.. and also a requirement to offer at lest 1 super charging station at each gas station.. i'm sure there would be a day and night rate (as most power co have a day and night rate)

I don't know how much I trust their test against the Ford. It was a 2wd truck with no weight in the back. A better test would be something closer to a tractor pull. At least use a 4wd gas truck. I believe at least one version of the Tesla is 4wd. Probably the version used in this test.

Ford has asked for a retest, I suspect using a 4wd. Tesla has accepted. We shall see.

It's all just publicity and Tesla is getting a boat load of it while Elon laughs all the way to the bank.
