I’ll post some up tomorrow, of the progress since I got her. Sorry for not replying until now, been busy with work
I don’t think any climate, locale, condition, garaged or not, pampering, etc, will prevent the inevitable dash cracks. You can replace and do some things to hopefully ward off trouble on the new dash, but I’m not sure any factory dash will survive intact. I’m sure someone will be along to prove me wrong, but I also think their time will come.

Still loving our '08 with 89k Have done brakes twice, front struts (due to winter road treatment), and two ball joints. Nothing considered out of the ordinary for the Tahoe. Body metal is good and thick compared to some new vehicles. With the back seat out we have an old time sedan delivery. Doesn't use any oil at all. It just jeeps chugging.

2007 120k...had the peeling paint taken care of over the summer and its like driving a new vehicle...doesnt owe me a thing and my wife loves it...
