Thanks everyone!

My only concern with the repair shops and the refurbished wheels for sale on ebay is what about the clear coat? I assume these wheels are clear coated and that gets comprised during the repair.

I live in a smaller town, nearest wheel repair shop is 2 hours away. Waiting to hear back from them on cost to fix.

It doesn’t have to be a refurb or refinished anything. There are plenty of just lightly used OEM wheels that people are selling.

I had curb rash on my brand new Infiniti..... The dealers have a weekly guy to repair rims....all the time..... They fixed my rim before my second cup of coffee and it looked perfect.

Since OEM wheels are clear coated it will cost a bit more that polished aluminum like billets but probably $150 or so. They will strip the clear, fix the wheel, and re-clear. At least that’s the going rate around here.

My wife had curb rash on her Lexus and the dealer had a mobile unit repair them (with new clear coat) and they look like new!

It’s about a 150 dollar fix where I live. Might be worth while to pay 200 bucks for a new wheel, if there’s no one near by to fix it
