I thought one but I could be wrong. It’s why I asked. I know I’ve seen it posted and I think it was in this thread :hmm: I thought it might have been @iamdub who posted about it

One updated baffle design, but two different hose nipple designs for a change to the PCV orifice made around ~'09. Looks like Phil has you covered with that tech bulletin he posted. I sold the one I bought since I found mine was already updated.

@kbuskill, did you ever install it or pass it to your brother?

My issue is when I search for thT part number I’m seeing them with both the old design and new design. So I’m only considering items where they show the underside of the valve cover so that I can be sure it’s the new design

This is the same one I posted yesterday. Looks like it has the new updated version in the pic. And Amazon is easy to return stuff if they send an old one17a65ba94a490e70a0149d3caca4d01c.png

Thanks, Phil. Sometimes I get stuck on eBay and forget about Amazon even though I saw your post on this item yesterday lol

Probably sellers posting generic stock photos. When I need to be specific, I'll contact the seller and have them personally check an item if not send me pictures of the actual item they'd be shipping to me.

If they wanna be too lazy to post actual pics, then they deserve to be hassled.

...For you ebay sellers on here, that last comment isn't directed towards those that buy merch in bulk to resell and never really know anything about it. It's towards the online car parts stores that should be more careful.

BTW, I'm sure you've already figured it out, but you can ignore the part number that's embossed on the underside of the valve cover. That's just for the casting of the cover which is the same across all the center bolt style covers, regardless of the PCV baffle or orifice version. Actually, that may be why some of these pics in the ads for the updated covers are of the older design.

Still in the box you shipped it to me in... I've been lazy... need to get my son fired up and let him change it... lol

Been meaning to get some red crinkle paint to spray the valve covers to give it the extra HP... just haven't ordered it yet.
