My '01 5.3L Tahoe has a hard plastic PCV pipe that runs from the PCV valve to the intake. It is pre-bent and has a soft foam rubber cover over the hard plastic piping.

I ordered a replacement hose for it through Rock Auto, and received a GM OEM hose, but it's too short and bent in the wrong direction. No way it's gonna fit and I checked the part # and they sent what is supposed to be, the right part. If I wanna replace it still, I guess I'll have to go with a roll of PCV hose from the auto parts store.

Anyone else come across this problem ?

Is the new one an update and you need to find out why the update says to use this and maybe something else like HiHoe says?

You can use 3/8” fuel line like Nate said. I see 2 different hoses listed on RA for your truck, one looks like the one you need.

Ya, you're right. It looks like they made two different versions and I need the other one. Thanks for spotting that !
