Hey everyone. My wifes 05 yukon denali xl is getting c0279 code, now I know it has to do with the ebcm but I'm really not familiar with it. I just replaced all the brake lines front to back and everything was good for about 3 weeks then I get this code and all the lights on. The lights come and go random times, anyone have this code or issue?

I'm not familiar with that? I read some of the post about the c0279 code but didnt come across that

There's a board in the ABS module that the solder joints break. Look on YouTube for some videos of the reflow job. I'm not sure if that relates to your code or not.

Which lights are you getting?

ALOT of goofy codes and random warnings come down to bad grounds in these trucks. There are quite a few you can check/ clean/ tighten.

Had the C0265 on the Duramax and the reflow job fixed it. But that was years ago and I did not remember the exact code number, which was why I suggested it. I agree with you on the grounding gremlins that these trucks have, and is a good place to start.

@swathdiver / @Rocket Man - So the diagnosis is to pull the #4/G104 ground and ohm it to the block?

I'll defer to Mark and the other guys with 800s, I just don't know enough about them, nor have I experience with the ABS yet. @Tonyrodz @Doubeleive
