Hey guys, I know this is the place to ask........ I just bought my 2019 Tahoe Premier a couple months ago, but am already thinking about getting ready for the dreaded winter months here in Canada. My truck has the standard 20 inch rims and standard brakes..... I cannot find anywhere what size the rotors are, and the big question is, can I put 17 inch rims on this truck or do I have to go to 18's for winter? I have to have winter tires as it is a requirement here and I would never be on all seasons, they just don't cut it, and I do not want to use my chrome rims in winter.....a good buddy who is a top drawer mechanic at work, said if I went to a slightly smaller rim and a higher aspect ratio tire it will amount to the same thing and is a bit of a cost saving...... so can I use a new 17 inch rim or do I have to go to 18's as a minimum?

Thanks Jack, that is exactly what I was hoping, to hear, although I wouldn't imagine that they changed much under the units from '15 to '19, I understand the Brembo set up has larger rotors but I would think your set up is the same as mine or vice/versa...... 17 inch winters would be a LOT less pricey than 18's or 20's...................... it's about economics

Did you end up putting 17's on?
I am also in Toronto and am about to pick up a 2019 Premier RST Tahoe with 22's.
Am looking to use a set of 17's I have from a previous Tahoe.

what size is your spare? If it is a 17 inch rim, then it should fit. You can also use the same size tire as your spare — assuming of course that it is mounted to a 17 inch wheel.
