If never add any shit like that to my coolant. Lol
But a small update, I did take the valve covers off to inspect the heads. ZERO signs of coolant on either of the heads. No milkshake, no peanut butter, and no areas that were abnormallly clean or shiny. The ONLY sign of coolant or moisture was on the bottom of the oil fill cap. I'm starting to wonder if my oil got contaminated a while back when the plastic "T" at the heater core broke and sprayed coolant EVERYWHERE in my engine compartment. I've only changed my oil twice since then, and although it's far less,it's still showing trace amounts of coolant. I'm going to inspect the cylinders next as soon as the borescope camera comes in that I ordered off eBay. And I'm going to send in another oil sample after that, regardless of how many miles. I only have about 800 miles on this oil so far.
My lower intake gasket (the plate with the knock sensors) is leaking, so it's QUITE possible that coolant seeped in through that gasket when the T fitting exploded. But I still won't feel comfortable until I inspect each cylinder, and get a few more oil analysis tests done.
That is surely possible that coolant got into the oil through that valley cover if the gasket is leaking there. The oil passages are directly under it.

Welcome to TYF, dirtedreamer. Tell us about your truck. Is that 2014/15 Silverado front clip with an aftermarket bumber?

it started as a yukon denali on 24s that was an auction car. 2009 denali front clip was changed to 07-13 silverado front end with fiberglass 4" wider fenders and fiberglass bumper cap over the skid plate and bumper. power mods forged 6.2 with minor bolt ons and tune had a turbo but with the big tires and fulltime aws it kept bending and breaking tie rods. 325/60-20 falken at3 on 20x10 raceline clutch wheels brakes 8 piston R1 concepts with 17" rotors in the front and rear 15.5 with 6 piston. re geared to 488s. Suspension mazzulla 4x4 mid travel kit with 2.5 Kings with adjusters front and rear and rear is the longer precision coil. theres a bunch of other stuff but thats the just of it. this week it will get new tie rods that can handle the power and new link arms and pan hard in the rear. it was purchased because they incorrectly totalled it no frame damage and it was dirt shit cheap so now i have a clean daily and weekend offroader. attached is the heim steering kit 1.25" .120 wall 3/4 heim inner with billet clevis and rack adapter 7/8 heim outer with 3/4 bolt and spindle getting drilled to accept that. all bolts 12 point NAS bolts with proper shanks and hardware

Recalibrated the HVAC systems, front and rear, with the Tech 2 since I wasn't getting heat in the rear. It works somewhat better now, but I'll have to delve into it some more the next time it's fully warmed up.

Probably the blend door actuator. If you remove the passenger rear panel, you can pull the actuators and move the doors by hand to test.

I'll be into that as soon as I can make sure hot engine coolant is getting through that rear heater core.

EDIT: everything works correctly this morning, so the Tech 2 recal seems to have done its job. I'll watch it closely over the next few weeks to be sure it stays good.
