Buy yourself some. The Wilwoods are way less expensive than Brembos.
I’m still going for the z06 brakes. Downside is i’ll have 15 inch single piece vs 16” two piece, upside is i’ll be able to buy calipers and pads at auto parts stores or on Amazon with prime shipping. I may even be able to find a compatible rotor part number for the baer rotors.

I can buy Wilwood pads on Amazon with prime shipping too although as massive as they are I don’t doubt Ill get 150k out of them. They’re been on over a year and look like they haven’t worn a bit. As far as rotors, Ill never need another set. You might want to check out some threads/discussions regarding the Z06 brakes before making your decision. The size of the rotor is only one thing to keep in mind. Sounds like you’ll be replacing pads pretty often since the Z06 pads are thin. The Wilwoods are .8" thick. Here's a link to a Corvette forum where they discuss the Z06 vs Wilwoods. In my pic you can see the pad thickness if you zoom in. It's crazy.

My youngest daughter and I put a dial caliper to each of the tie rods, the toe recently went out and within 8K miles took 3/32 of tread off the inside of a pair of tires. They are all within spec still. So now it's time to find a good alignment tech. A few weeks ago we had to do a crash stop when a policeman decided it was a good time to stop traffic to let some firemen cross the highway. We went from 50 to 0 in less then two car lengths, about 1 and a quarter road stripes. Could that have done it? Tires squeaked a little bit. The Tech-2 knows the tire type, size and air pressure, which I reckon is used to fine tune the ABS.

Fair point. Those are meaty pads. I know that the willwoods taylor the pad material to not chew up rotors. I was looking at their site last night. The other thing I like about the willwoods is that the two piece rotors save on a considerable amount of mass.

Im only going to be doing the fronts for now. I dont like that you loose the parking brake if you do rears.

Another thing is I guess I’m just used to having to replace brake pads. The EBC Yellows I ran on the s10 would be 0.5mm away from the backing plate after 30,000. Part of that was my heavy foot, the other part was that the material was ablateive and super high friction. It is dusty on purpose because it will carry heat away with the dust. I’d also only get two sets of pads before the rotors were chewed up and past minimum thickness. Will see. I’ll prob wind up with z06 on front with AC Delco pads.

I don’t know where you got information that you lose parking brakes with the rears, it’s certainly not the case with the ones I bought. I’ve run EBC pads on my Harleys, good stuff but a lot of dust. I see very little dust on my wheels with the Wilwoods.

Doing Z06 brakes in the rear /I think/ based on what I can read you lose the ability to use the parking brake. I need to double check though

You’re on the right track with the alignment tech. Maybe you have some worn control arm bushings?
