One good battery is all a guy needs unless you’re running a lot of bass imo. You should just get yours checked out like others have said, and 10-15 minutes of idling isn’t going to charge it for shit.

I live in Colorado and often go camping in elevations over 11-12k feet, miles off road, and even further from any sort of cell reception. I feel I definitely need dual batteries for my adventures.

i do none of those things, but hate coming back to a dead battery so i would also like to batteries.

I will be getting an inverter or buck converter to run my laptop off of so I can use that as an excuse at least

Let me know if you're able to program it because I bought my 15+ fob from them and I couldn't program it the usual way. I have an 07 too by the way.

Received and programmed it in less than 2 minutes. Works great!

For emergencies I have a Lithium Ion in a case that will jump start a semi truck. It also has adapters for everything you can think of. I also go camping way out in the woods but I’ve only had to jump it once, when I forgot the interior lights on. The backup can be recharged from a 120 or 12 volt source so if I need to I can charge it from an accessory outlet. They make powerful stuff in small packages now.

I thought you were trying to reduce weight of the vehicle? A second battery will add a lot of weight to the front end of the vehicle

Yes it will! I’ve been putting it off because I’m not sure if I want to make the tradeoff.

Oh also! I found my dremel- so now I just need to grab a bunch of JB Weld and some duct tape and I’ll be lopping the intake resonators off.

you have to drop it off? how long does that take and what do they charge?

Yup. If you are lucky just the day and charge is around $80 or more depending what they decide to find wrong or not even of you busted your ass 3 months ahead of time to try and beat the game and fix everything you could think of.
