Thankfully, after 35 years of running shops, I too have contacts with manufacturers employees and independent shops in a pinch but this forum is such a great source for info as well.

915_Tahoe, he's the guy who offered to look up parts for you, he works at a dealership. Are you viewing this site through a phone or mobile device? If so, you can't see everything about the participants.
I'm using a laptop. I need to pay more attention to the screen names. It's such a great place here in this forum...so much knowledge! Wish this was available when I was growing up! Sure is nice of so many people to share their knowledge to help the masses! I refuse going to the dealership when my vehicles are out of warranty. Forums are the answer.

Give me the last 8 of your vin# and I can get you the #'s when i get to work in the morning
Thanks for your help Rene. Some of the part numbers (especially the front shocks) can be confusing. My '15 Yukon was built 10/14 and has some '14 suspension parts on it so I really appreciate your help! I've also really enjoyed the forum. Great people here lime yourself..sharing and helping others for free. :elephant:

I've been out of the GM loop for many years now so this forum and people like yourself are awesome people to offer help and share your knowledge with others like myself!

We are all in the same boat. want our rigs to work like we expect and need help at times to accomplish that. I cannot tel you how many times I talked frustrated customers "off the ledge" at my shops by telling them that the reason I ask so many questions is so I can drive the rig and experience what they do and then I can "duplicate" the problem and know what I am after. I also always did the final road test to make sure I handed keys to a customer and knew it was fixed. ALL customers know that the rig will give them a problem at some time and that caused anxiety, so I liked to help if I can or knew who could help. Good luck with this problem.
