Yeah, been here more than half my life and it's gotten so worse over the years, especially lately. The hostile takeover of the state is ruining everything I came here for. Like the minimum "non-fossil-fuel" inventory that the car dealers are fighting is one thing, along with the adoption of California emissions - ugh. Leave us alone and let us buy what we want and need. Colorado's going to pot, pun intended.

Mark my words, it won't be long until the free car charging stations start costing money. That's mostly fossil fuel generated, BTW. And the loss of gas taxes is going to change for those people. That'll be a JOLT, 'nother pun intended.
Yes. Hell in a damn hand basket. Hicken-ass was terrible, but didn’t even hold a candle to this clown. How about the “epic” rockslide, we need to make into a monument?!?.. what a joke. He’s finishing off our state in short order.

Sometime ago an energy expert considered if California went nearly full electric cars, as they want

......

Something like 30 megawatts per ( what used to be) a gas station.....per day!!!!!) The state would require 6 new nuclear power plants...... ( I'm paraphrasing )the info, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to have zero emissions in a state.

I moved from Kalifornia 7 years ago....... Best move ever, & was perfect timing.
Yep, years ago I read the entire publication on the nuclear fuel cycle, from the Australian Nuclear Energy Commission (or whatever it’s called) I learned a ton about energy, in all it’s forms. It’s just not possible to have zero emissions energy at this point in time, and the mandates that have been setup are unobtainable. It’s comical that these clowns just implement these mandates, until you consider the “consequences” we have when we fail to meet them. [emoji35][emoji2959]

Did you see where Berkley, CA has banned natural gas in all new buildings? They said it’s for the environment but the electricity that will be used has to come from somewhere unless they have a magic battery that charges itself automatically.

Here in Colorado they've been changing the electric generating coal plants to natural gas. Once California gets a half-assed magic battery I'm sure we'll be changing to that. Stupid is as stupid does.

Berkeley's folks are going to be pretty uptight, not being able to fart inside. They'll have to go outside with the smokers.

They are nuts. If they want to cut down on natural gas, they should shut up and quit farting themselves instead of pushing their fantasies onto us. Lead by example and quit farting you do-gooders, them cows can't help it!

Rock Auto "complies with state taxes" but won't calculate and charge city taxes. I'm not sure if we have a city tax for this but they just won't process any of my orders.

I have the same issue with rockauto and discontinued doing business with them. I don't have a secondary place to have my items delivered to, so I've been using the dealership for parts.

Will the online dealerships do the taxes? They’re way cheaper than my local dealer.

Steve and Sam, couldn't agree more. I moved here over 20 years ago from St Louis. It was great then, but it has become nearly unbearable now. I am thinking seriously about moving back to Missouri, it has actually been going in the opposite direction of Colorado.
