The bumps your referring to are the lack of sidewall in the tires. I guarantee is you go to 18’s, the additional sidewall will pick up the off-highway bumps.

With more sidewall, the body roll and/or worn sway bar bush are going to be more pronounced. Upgrade the bars and go poly bushings. You won’t believe the difference.

You got a really nice rig. That paint has a lot more clear than standard colors. Ceramic seal it ASAP to avoid the peel that’s overdue and ready to occur. It’s a difficult color to match, but deff my favorite.

Retractable running boards? They look good! Keep the oem AutoRide bags and struts filled with magnetorheological fluid. Unlike the normal struts they’re 100% efficient until they fail. The 22’s will sell themselves on c/l. Find a wheel tire comparison calculator on the internet to get really close or perfect on your tire selection.

Welcome aboard!

thanks a lot. i drove along side a white diamond tricoat ltz tahoe one day and knew right then that was the color i wanted. super classy imo. we kind of got lucky with this one. i was really wanting a 6.2 tahoe but couldnt find one very close and many i found had a checkered past. this was an 09 so no afm! had black interior (seems like most are tan), has 2 dvd players in headrest (perfect for a 2 and 3 y.o.) and was only 2.hrs from home.it also came with an engine and powertrain warranty (not sure on the quality...dealer was high on them). i was pretty against purchasing a northeast vehicle, but its in really good shape for its age. i will look into coating the paint and the undercarriage.
i was just surprised at the amount of body roll. seems like what i was reading about was saying how the magnaride road rough/firm. i will check out the bushings and sway bar.

Prolly had power steps and removed them.
Good call on warranty. Look to see if it covers the bags/shocks, motor mounts, rear main seal, pan gasket and main seals, xfer case and trans seals.

If they’ll cover replacement of only 1 mtr mnt, pay for other one out o pocket & trans mount too. When u do rear brakes next, verify if seals at axle to brake backing plate are covered. If so, they’ll replace rear diff fluid, seals + all gaskets.

With the 100k coming up try to work in covered leaky seals to get your labor and fluids covered by warranty. Never tell warr co your rear shocks went out prior to the compressor. They’ll try to stick you w/ cost of compressor because you neglected to service leaky shocks.

Plan your proactive maint right and you’ll be stoked. Our 08 XL warr bought in 14 paid out almost $15k in covered items from being proactive against the $19.5k orig price. Enjoy your armored nap wagon for the kids.

You have the AutoRide Suspension Package, RPOs Z55 and G69. Magnetic Ride Control was reserved for the Cadillacs.

Check all of your shocks for movement and your air compressor for proper function.
