Actually, it's a little splash that you've already paid for and you're just getting it rather than leaving it in the hose for the next guy. The fuel in the hose has already been metered.

That must be why gas/e85 can all come from the same hose and diesel has to have a seperate one. Cause if last guy got 87 octane, the tube has 87 in it.

The stations around me that offer e85 have dedicated e85 hoses.
They may here too. I’ve never purchased it here. Its the same price as premium and only available at a couple stations. I may have the tuner make me a ‘91 Tune’ and an ‘E85 Tune’

I’m very jealous of the NNBSs that havs the factor TBC. Aftermarket cobtrollers always look tacky. I’ve read that you can’t add the factory controller to a vehicle that didn’t ship with it. (I’m convinced that just like deleting Z55- you could in theroy, but would probably have to have a dealer computer and flash the BCM)

It's far more involved than that, the entire wiring harness, instrument cluster, ABS module and a whole bunch of other stuff has to be changed and programmed. You'd literally have to disassemble much of the truck to retrofit it.

Glad you finally found it!

I wonder if i should just reset the fuel trims, I've never done it before but I was reading on the ls1tech website they say to reset the fuel trims if you change anything that makes the engine breath different and I added the cai and 90mm tb when I first got the truck, I just don't want to mess anything up, what do you think @swathdiver

Do them both, the Fuel Trim Reset and Alcohol Content Reset with the Tech-2 if you know the fuel on board has 10% or less ethanol in it. Forget which to do first, if it matters. I've done it on the highway while cruising before which gave it time to relearn. More recently, reset the alcohol content and trims fell in line nicely.

What's going on with the fuel system and those hot cats?

I don't know from what these other guys are reporting temp wise mine don't seem to be all far off it's a 6.2 so I don't know how much difference that would make temp wise on the cat's if any. I guess it couldn't hurt to reset the fuel trims and see what it does, how long does it take for it to relearn?

Not really a matter of "how long"it takes and or doesn't "relearn". The trims are constantly adjusting based on o2 data. Reset time.

20-30 miles, half an hour or so.

Idling my cat temps would be in the low 800s and they heat up fast and easily into the 1500s while accelerating and cool down slowly. Watched them yesterday again, and like in June, they kept cooling down while at speed but only into the 1300s since there was traffic.
