91B92521-A24D-436B-8C8A-778768288869.jpeg Took 4 hours but well worth it.

wash, clay bar, polish(hand) and wax (hand).

Anyone ever go through this process with their vehicle? It’s my daily driver.

Also has anyone ever used RAIN X. Thanks!

Black sure does look good all polished up.

4 hrs. isn't that long at all, especially if "by hand" you mean you did it all by hand and didn't use a machine to polish and apply the wax.

I have gone through this process with other black vehicles I have owned (which is also why I'll never own a black vehicle again), but for my '15 Yukon XL Denali I have found a local detail guy who does a great job for a fair price.

I’m a professional detailer. So DIY is the only way to go with detailing my rig. Lol. But I can do that same detail job in less time. But that’s because in my opinion polishing and waxing by hand is a major waste of time and energy. I like having machines do it for me haha. Looks good though for a black truck! :)

That Yukon looks great......and if you truly polished and waxed all by hand, 4 hours is pretty darn quick!

^I’m with these guys, 4 hours is busting ass if you did the polishing by hand.

Big fan of Rain X. You won’t need wipers at highway speeds. Their windshield wipers are trash though. Stick with Bosch icon.

I did my wife's Yukon and my Tahoe, same thing clay bar, polish and wax. However I use a wheel for the polish and wax, saves time and energy

I got tired of detailing my vehicles, I also own some classic cars, so I had them ceramic coated with gtechnic. Makes my life SO much easier now. I just rinse, dose them with the foam cannon, pressure wash rinse, and dry with air cannon. Easy Peasy
