Yeah it's a tight space in there. I had a hard time as well, spent more time trying to get the bulbs out than I did removing and reinstalling the air intake box!

If you're having a hard time twisting loose the white plastic ring, maybe try putting a flat head screw driver in there on the tab and prying upwards on the tab I had to do this on the passenger side ring to initially loosen it up, then I was able to twist it the rest of the way off with my hand.

Thanks I'll give that a try

I was just going by the description - "7000K cool blue". I've had good experience with both Osram and Philips but I always saw a hint of blue at 5000 and above.

All the videos and reviews of the OSRAM CBB are closer to 5500-6000K max. The type of projector can affect light output, intensity, and cut-off as well.

I have a feeling the OEM projectors in our GM SUV’s aren’t considered “top performers” in the HID projector game.

They are not actually!

I know a lot of friends who have HID or halogen in their Tahoes/Yukons and they replaced them with third party projection lenses (Hella to be more specific “Hella is a German Brand”) and the result is outstanding and phenomenal !

Check the projection at the attached image (not a GM car here)
