I'll export in several formats and zip them all up.

So far I have 3ds, Iges 116, STL, and DXF.
STEP (or is it STP?) is a bit more difficult. I can down load a program to command line convert but have no way to test the results.

You want them sent by e-mail or a download link?
I use Mediafire to upload.

Not a problem. 3D model work for Games is a hobby of mine.
I'll zip what I have up and send it off.

Slowly but surely. I have the supplies now. I think I will pull of front quarter panels and paint little by little so I can improve my technique along the way. Paint shop also gave me some scrap paint so I could practice on a sacrificial fender (need to pick one up).

Now I need to make a strategy for prep. Most of my problem is clear coat peal. There are very minimal dents, hardly any, but would like to fix those that are.

I didn't buy any primer. Paint shop didn't think I would need any. For sides... however roof and hood are different story once I get to those. They may need stripped.

Anyways any advice is appreciated. I am woundering if I just hit fenders with 400 grit, then clean and spray?

If fenders were any better they would just need a polish. I am going to pull them off tho and spray them up. Been a while since I have done this (16 yrs or so)

I am getting ready to prep panel. My strategy is to paint one panel at a time as I refine my technique.

I want to start with rear quarter panel. Few questions:

1. How do you remove glass?

2. What grit sandpaper do you recomment. Paint is black, a youtube vid said 800 till smooth surface then 1200 to rough up for paint. Fyi there will be no primer or fill on this panel.

3. Anyway to rebuild rubber gutter, is at seam of roof and panel.

4. How do i get new z71 badges back in original location?

Thanks :)
